Head of Channel Sales

Work Location: Virginia

The Head of Channel Sales position is responsible for driving sales and revenues of OneWeb Technologies unique portfolio of satellite services to the US Government and key partners in the defense and intelligence community.

This position will focus heavily on developing and driving requirements for OneWeb Technologies services and establishing contract vehicles and contract partnerships, with a focus on DISA and other agencies in the NCR.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and channel development plan focused on expanding OneWeb Technologies market share within the Federal Government.
  • Leverage existing relationships within the DoD and Intelligence community to achieve profitable revenues.
  • Maintain and manage a robust sales funnel, which ensures meeting or exceeding revenue expectations.
  • Work closely with other sales team members to leverage end user relationships and drive requirements to preferred contract vehicles.
  • Establish a deep understanding of, and ability to anticipate customer requirements and provide guidance on product evolution so that OneWeb Technologies is viewed as an innovative problem solver.
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure correct and effective market positioning.
  • Ability to navigate different types of organizations and create partnerships at all levels.
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrable success
  • 5-10 years experience selling complex solutions to the federal government, especially the DoD and Intelligence community.
  • Business degree or comparable work experience.
  • Experience in working in a small, highly dynamic team environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Strong technical skills especially in the Satellite and Telecommunications field.
  • Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple projects simultaneously and be resourceful under pressure.
